Hi,

here a question about something you have partly done already.

I saw in the videos that crushing skulls and decapitations are already in. So this is also something a game did not need to be good but honestly.... most of us like finishing moves [biggrin]
Will there be more? Different weapon different kills???

Hi Karnak,

I've been busy finishing up the demo, it is loading to indieDB as we speak. I am very BIG on animations and love finishing moves, but implementing them into a turn-based game is kind of tricky. The animations I am using now are all mocap.

Finishing animations are basically two animations synced up, I spend hours syncing up animations already so for the most part most attacks connect properly and the deaths are appropriate already.

I will continue to work on animations, there will definitely be more death animations though, different types of decapitations. Not too sure on dismemberment for now, I had tried it before but it was really poor implemented, so I am rethinking of a better way 😉

It dont have to be only dismembermenst. Every finisher can look cool ;-) Impale, slit throat, Axe through shoulder...... damn maybe i am a little mad [biggrin]

Throat slit animations are possible to do, I already have death animations that look like similar to that. More will come, the demo is out now so feel free to try it and give me feedback 😉
